2010 Nissan Frontier

Nissan Frontier is easily the most comfortable and civilized Frontier yet. King Cab models come with space behind the front seats that is better used for carrying smaller cargo items than for squeezing passengers of any size into the flip-up jump seats. Crew Cabs can accommodate adults, albeit nowhere nearly as comfortably as an SUV or full-size pickup.

The King Cab is offered in an economical XE trim level powered by a 152-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Other King Cab and all Crew Cab models are offered in basic SE, comfortably equipped LE and more off-road-oriented PRO-4X trim levels. Most Frontiers are fitted with a robust 261-hp 4.0-liter V6.

2010 Nissan Titan,

2010 Nissan Titan offers more power, torque and a greater towing capacity. Titan comes with a five-speed automatic instead of the four-speed automatics found on other full-size pickups. Better airbag coverage is provided in this car. Also brings a host of innovative features, which are previously not offered, in any full-size pickup. Nissan is import brand with a large pickup. It gives a refined variant of the conventional full-size pickup.

2010 Nissan Titan features a fully boxed, closed ladder frame, independent double-wishbone front suspension, solid rear axle with dual-stage shackled leaf springs and offset shock absorbers, and a big V8 engine, the heart of any full size pickup. Nissan Titan has triple door seals compared to double seals in the F-150 to reduce the intrusion of noise, air or moisture in the cab.

2010 Nissan Titan is the first pickup available with a factory applied, sprayed-in resin bed liner, the armor type so popular in the aftermarket. This also offers a new Utility-track system, which consists of grooves or channels in the bed two on the bed floor and one each along the top inside edge of the sides and cab end of the of the box.

2010 Nissan Rogue,

Rogue stands out thanks to its carlike road manners, stylish skin and finely crafted interior. The steering is conveniently light in parking lots yet reassuringly weighty at speed, and the suspension takes bumps in stride while also reining in excess body roll through corners. The Rogue's slick exterior design is more European than Japanese, perhaps due to the influence of the Nissan-Renault alliance. Unlike most rivals, the Rogue boasts high-quality soft-touch dashboard materials, and the overall look is more upscale than we're used to seeing in this segment. Add it all up, and what you've got is a compact crossover with uncommon panache

Driving Impressions

Small crossovers are supposed to drive like cars, and the 2010 Nissan Rogue does them one better -- it drives like a car with great handling. Road bumps and imperfections are gobbled up with ease, highway stability is exemplary and handling is aided by good body control and precise, well-weighted steering. Power from the four-cylinder is adequate; it's the CVT that can be problematic, due to the constant engine drone it produces at full throttle. The SL trim's manual shift mode rectifies this situation somewhat by allowing the driver to cycle among six simulated gear ratios.

2010 Nissan Pathfinder,

Nissan Pathfinder also offers several package options, including a new LE V8 Value Package with a DVD player, 7-inch color monitor for rear passengers and a moonroof. A new SE Premium Journey Package includes 17-inch machined aluminum-alloy wheels, a RearView Monitor, roof rack crossbars, a 10-speaker Bose stereo system, XM satellite radio capability, Bluetooth and Intelligent Key.

All Pathfinders utilize rack-and-pinion power steering with speed-sensitive power assist, plus 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). Electronic stability control is also standard. Front passenger airbags, side airbags, and rear and side head airbags are also standard.

 

2010 Nissan Murano,

The 2010 Nissan Murano is largely unchanged following its redesign for the 2009 model year. This midsize SUV seats 5 and is based on Nissan's "D" platform, which is shared with the midsize Altima sedan. Models are S, SL, and LE. All use a 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that behaves much like an automatic. Maximum towing capacity is 3,500 pounds. All offer front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The front-drive LE is new for 2010. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Heated front and rear seats are available, as are a navigation system and DVD entertainment. Keyless access and engine start are standard on all.

Standard on LE and optional on SL are leather upholstery, a rearview camera, and heated front and rear seats. A voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic information and hard drive for storing digital-music files are optional on SL and L
